House rules

The hub is a free fan project to help Des Moines area players find games. By making an account you agree to these few rules.

Who can use Play Now

• You must be 18 or older.
• New accounts are for players in Iowa for now.
• One account per person. Pick a display name that isn't someone else's.

Meeting up

• Games happen at a listed shop, never at someone's home or another private place.
• The hub doesn't check who players are. Anything a player says on the hub, like "I can bring an army to share", is their own word, not something the hub has checked.
• You're responsible for your own safety. Use your judgment, leave if something feels off, and in an emergency call 911 and tell the shop staff.
• Follow each shop's own rules while you're there.

What you type

• No phone numbers, emails, social media or Discord handles in your profile or notes. Swap contact details in person if you both want to.
• No harassment, threats, hate or anything sexual. Be the kind of opponent you'd want to play.
• Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't post anything that isn't yours to share.

When rules are broken

• Report a player from their card or your match card, or email bbagginsoftheshire3791@gmail.com.
• Josh can remove a display name, a note or an account that breaks these rules, without warning if it's serious.

The fine print, in plain words

• The hub is unofficial and free. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Games Workshop, or by any shop or group listed here.
• It's run by one person in his spare time, with no guarantee it will always work or stay online. Shop details and game times can be out of date, so check with the shop before you go.
• What's kept and for how long is on the Privacy page.
• These rules may change. If they do, the change is listed on What changed with its date.
